Fiona Campbell is appointed Head of Communications, Public Affairs, Science and Sustainability, Bayer UK and Ireland.
Prior to her appointment, Fiona was Head of Public Affairs & Sustainability, UK & Ireland, and has worked for Bayer twice in her career.
Fiona brings to Bayer more than 20 years' experience in a variety of public affairs and communications roles, including within industry trade associations and the civil service.
She began her career in at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, working for the Rural Advocate Lord Cameron on rural community and economic policy, and then Parliamentary Affairs at Macmillan Cancer Relief. Following a role at the Chemical Industry Association (CIA), Fiona led the media and public affairs team at the Food and Drink Federation, the trade association for food manufacturers. She then joined Bayer as Senior Government Affairs Manager in the Patient Access team, working with the Women’s Health and Ophthalmology cross functional teams.
Fiona then left Bayer to become Director of the healthcare public affairs practice at Hanover Communications and, in 2021, returned to Bayer as Head of Public Affairs and Sustainability, in the Communications, Public Affairs, Science and Sustainability team.
Fiona lives in London and will be based in Bayer’s Reading office.
