Mike Knowland, currently Consumer Health Country Division Head (CDH) for the UK and Ireland, will succeed George Fatouros as Cluster Lead, Northern Europe in addition to his current role, effective 1 October 2023. 

Bayer’s Consumer Health Europe North country cluster includes the UK, Ireland, Nordics and Benelux. In this expanded role, Mike will become a member of the EMEA Leadership Team and will report to Stefan Meyer, Head, Commercial Operations, EMEA. He will remain a member of the UK & Ireland Country Leadership Team.

Mike joined Bayer in the UK in 2019 as Sales Head for the UK before becoming Commercial Lead UK and later CDH UK /Ireland. He holds a BA in International Business and, before joining Bayer, held roles across commercial and supply functions at Unilever, Philips and Coty.
