Appointment – Head of Crop Science, UK, Ireland & Nordics

Today Nils Bauer, joins Bayer UK/Ireland as its Crop Science Country Divisional Head UK, Ireland & Nordics.

Prior to his appointment, Nils was Head of Marketing for Germany-Austria within Crop Science.

Nils joined Bayer in 2008 in the in-house Consulting department of Bayer Business Services. After consulting projects in research for Bayer Material Science, marketing in Pharmaceuticals and supply chain for Crop Science, he moved to Crop Science in Monheim, Germany in 2010 as global CEO management support. Three years later he moved to Bayer USA as Marketing Manager for Horticulture Crops. In 2015, he moved to Vienna to become Country Commercial Lead for the Crop Science business in Austria, before moving to his current role as Head of Marketing in July 2019.

Nils currently lives in the Rhineland with his wife and three children and will relocate with his family to Cambridge, UK in the summer.
