Coming in at 22nd place amongst organisations with 251-1,000 employees, this award underlines Bayer’s belief that its employees really do enjoy working there and are very proud of the company.

The UK Best Workplace rankings are published annually by the Great Place to Work Institute to celebrate the creation of great workplaces in the UK. These best workplaces tend to out perform the average organisation, with employees saying they look forward to coming to work, that they have trust in their leadership and find their company a fun place to work.

The rankings are defined by the Best Workplace survey, the world’s largest survey of workplace cultures and people practices. Assessment involves both the employee experience (through a Trust Index employee survey) and the HR and leadership practices that create the workplace culture that employees experience, through a Culture Audit.

Bayer’s 2019 results reveal high employee engagement and a strong sense of diversity. Innovation and continuous improvement also polled high which endorses our focus on becoming a life science company.
